Take Action

Genarlow Wilson has been incarcerated for more than two years for having consensual sex when he was 17 with an under-aged girl.  Since his conviction on charges of aggravated child molestation, the General Assembly changed the law to reduce the conduct he engaged in from a felony to a misdemeanor.  Yet, the Georgia Attorney General insists on appealing the decision of a Monroe County Superior Court Judge to free Wilson, calling his punishment unconstitutional, cruel and unusual.

Contact Attorney General Thurbert Baker to urge him to drop the state of Georgia’s appeal and release Genarlow Wilson.
